So, I’ve been keeping this little Audi A1 for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver for most of the time, and honestly, I’ve never been happier with a car that’s both practical and stylish.

It’s a 2017 model, 1.4-litre TFSI engine, automatic transmission, and Euro 6 compliant — which means it’s clean and runs smoothly. I’ve driven it over 68,000 miles, and it’s always been well-maintained. The last MOT was fresh, and I’ve kept it up to date with regular servicing, so it’s in great shape under the skin.

The interior is clean and tidy — lots of modern features like LED lights, cruise control, DAB radio, Bluetooth, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen. I love the sporty look with the 16-inch alloy wheels and the 5-spoke design. It has electric windows, heated rear screen, parking sensors, and even a nice little alarm and immobiliser. The seats are comfortable, and the steering is responsive — not too stiff, not too soft.

It’s got a full set of keys, a V5, and a clean HPI check. I’ve also had it through a full inspection — brakes, suspension, engine, electricals, everything — and it’s all solid.

I’ve had it for a while now, and it’s never needed a major repair. I actually paid £10,495 new, and it’s been a solid performer. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done — good for city driving, easy to park, and doesn’t eat through fuel. I get around 67 mpg, which is pretty decent for this kind of car.

I’m moving to Birstall, Kirklees, and I’m thinking of parting ways with it. I’ve been offered a small deposit of £99 to hold it online, or I can just call and chat — no pressure, no sales pitch.
