So, I’ve had this 2013 Ford Galaxy for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been a solid workhorse. It’s a British-built diesel with a 2.0 TDCi engine, only 55k miles on it — not much use of the dash, just a few regular trips and family stuff. The Zetec trim gives it a bit of polish, with Bluetooth hands-free calling, a digital clock, and electric tailgate.

It’s got seven seats, so it’s been great for school runs and long family trips. The park assist on both front and back is a real help, and the door ajar warning means I don’t have to keep checking if someone left a door open. The heated windscreen and washer jets are a nice touch — especially in the winter.

Inside, it’s got daphne cloth upholstery, heated mirrors, and all the little things you’d expect in a family car — like fold-flat third-row seats, storage pockets, and even a couple of tie hooks for luggage nets. The front seats have adjustable headrests and even a bit of recline, which is handy when you’re on a long drive.

I bought it direct from a government agency — one owner, no previous history of major issues. It’s been through six documented services, and it’s been well looked after. I’ve also got a six-month RAC parts and labour warranty, plus 12 months of RAC roadside assistance — just in case.

It’s currently in Dunblane, Stirling, and I’m selling it because I’m moving into a smaller car for city driving. It’s not cheap — I’m thinking £5,355 — but it’s been reliable, comfortable, and has actually held up pretty well.
