Got this old mahogany chest of drawers from my grandparents’ house in Darvel, East Ayrshire. It’s been in the family for decades and I’ve used it a few times over the years—mostly as a storage piece in my bedroom. The wood is rich and slightly worn at the edges, but the drawers slide smoothly and everything’s still solid. I’m not sure if it’s original or restored, but it’s got a nice, warm character. It’s not fancy, but it’s definitely lived-in and has a real story. Just letting it go because I’ve moved into a smaller flat and don’t need it anymore.
