Got this Audi Q7 back in 2009 and it’s been my trusty workhorse ever since. Clocks up to 130k now, engine’s solid and runs smooth — never let me down, even on long trips. I just drove to Liverpool and back, no issues at all.

A few quirks though: the passenger door’s a bit fiddly — sometimes unlocks, sometimes doesn’t. And the air suspension has a sensor problem, which causes a warning light to come on after 5–10 minutes of driving, but it just goes away when I turn off the engine. Doesn’t affect how it drives, so not a big deal.

Front tyres are probably due for a replacement, but nothing major. All of these things are just small niggles — I’m being honest about them, and they’re factored into the price.

I’m moving to Hebden Bridge in Calderdale soon and need to swap it out for a van. So I’m parting with it. It’s been reliable, quiet, and never failed me. If you’re thinking of buying a used SUV, this one’s a solid pick — just don’t let the small faults put you off. Got a new car coming in next week, so I’m finalising the swap.
