Description
Got this old 11kg wheelbarrow out of a skip in Haslemere, Waverley – basically just a scrap heap survivor, like SuperTed but with a bit of a story. I took it apart, replaced the tube and tyre completely, gave it a fresh undercoat with rust-proof paint, then hand-painted it black with two coats of Hammerite. It’s now looking solid and ready to go. The wheels are solid, the frame’s sturdy, and it’s been treated like it matters. If you’re into upcycling or just want a reliable, no-nonsense wheelbarrow that’s actually been cared for, this one’s a keeper. I’m not charging much – just £36 – but it’s been through a lot, so it’s worth knowing it’s not just sitting in a skip.Seller Information
