Paddle board with kayak conversion
Description
Got this paddle board a few years ago – Bodyglove X2, the one that’s been a bit of a go-to for weekend trips. It’s not just a paddle board, it’s actually a bit of a lifestyle thing. I’ve used it about 5 or 6 times, mostly on calm lakes and rivers, and it’s been solid through every session. It’s got that high-end, durable material – the kind that doesn’t wear down easily. Can carry two adults and a kid, maybe even two kids if you’re light on the feet. The deck is padded so you can just lay back and chill, especially when you're paddling on your knees – it’s surprisingly comfy.
I bought it in 2024 for £700, and it’s been fresh water washed after every use. Keeps in a dry garage, never gets wet, and still looks like it’s just come out of the box. The pump plugs into your car’s cigar lighter – long lead, so no fiddling – and it’s up to full pressure in about 12 minutes.
It’s got two seats that you can attach to switch it into a kayak or SUPYAK mode. The paddles are adjustable – you can set them to fit different sizes, and it’s got four blades total. The waterline design makes it glide really smoothly, and it can support up to 160kg.
I even have a GoPro mount on the front – perfect for filming little moments on the water. The included backpack fits in the boot of a family car, no hassle.
I’ve only been using it a few times because I picked up a knee injury and now I’m shifting to kayaks. So I’m selling it, not because I don’t like it, but because I need to switch gears.
It’s in as-new condition, all the parts are there, and the photos show everything. I’m not going to keep it on the site once I get paid – no holds, no delays. Cash on collection only.
Price is £450. I’m open to part exchange – a high-end single-seater kayak or sit-on-top model – if you’ve got something that fits. Just say the word.
