Got this old wooden rocking chair and decided to part with it. It’s been in the family for years, used mostly in the living room when I’d read books or just chill out. The wood is solid, the seat is smooth, and it actually rocks pretty well—doesn’t wobble, doesn’t squeak. I’ve used it for everything from napping to quiet evenings with a cup of tea. It’s not flashy, but it’s comfortable and has a real warmth to it. Left it in a small garden shed in Forfar, Angus, so it’s not too far to get to.
