Got this old rod back in the day from a friend who used to fish near Newmarket, Suffolk. It's from John Wilson’s Tackle Den, so it's got that classic feel. I'm not sure about the casting weight, but it’s solid as a rock and works well for pike fishing. It’s been stored well and hasn’t seen much use—just a bit of wear here and there, nothing major. I’m keeping it because it’s a nice piece of fishing history, and I’ve been thinking about using it for a bit of weekend fishing. It’s sitting in a box, ready to go.
