Dethleffts Espire 7870i

Description

So, I’ve been keeping this motorhome for a few years now — it’s a 2008 Dethleffs Esprit I7870, built on a Fiat Maxi chassis with the 3.0 engine and manual gearbox. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid — has done about 73,000 miles and’s had a good service history. I’ve had it checked recently and it’s still running well, with a 12-month MOT coming up.

Inside, it’s actually quite spacious. Back end has this big fixed transverse bed — you can actually lift it up and turn the space below into a garage area. The bathroom is right after that — shower, basin, and toilet, all in one. Then moving forward, the kitchen is well set up: gas hob, oven, grill, washbasin, and a large fridge-freezer. The dinette at the front is a good spot to chill with the family, and there’s a big pull-down double bed at the front too — plenty of room for a couple or two.

It’s got a few nice extras: underslung refillable gas system, Alde heating, diesel heater, three solar panels with a Vitron controller, twin leisure batteries, habitation aircon, and a Sterling alarm. Front springs have been upgraded too. There’s also a TV, stereo, and all the safety bits like back seat seatbelts.

I’m not selling it through a dealer — I just want to get it out of the way and into a new hands. I’ve been using it for a few years, and I’ve taken good care of it. The V5 is with me, and everything’s been HPI-checked.
