Iceking 287L White Chest Freezer – 109cm – Adjustable Temp
Description
I’ve had this Iceking chest freezer for a few years now and honestly, it’s been a real lifesaver for our family. It’s white, 287 litres, and about 109cm wide — big enough to store all our frozen meals, meat, and even that extra batch of bread we always end up making. One thing I really like is the adjustable temperature setting. It’s not just for freezing things cold — you can tweak it depending on what you’re storing. If you’re keeping frozen veggies or meat, it keeps them fresher than just plain freezing.
The inside is smooth and easy to clean, which is a big plus. I’ve spilled a few things over the years and it’s not a hassle to wipe it down. The lid counterbalances too, so it doesn’t feel like it’s tipping when you open it — handy when you’re grabbing something from the back.
It’s a bit of a beast in terms of space, so if you’ve got a big household or like to stock up, this one’s worth considering. I’ve kept it in my kitchen for ages and it’s still running smoothly.
Energy rating’s E, which is fine for a freezer this size, and it uses about 227kWh a year — not bad for a large unit. No frost-free feature, no lockable lid, just one basket and a recessed door handle. The door doesn’t reverse, which is fine — I don’t need that kind of flexibility.
I’ve been using it in Buckinghamshire, England, and it’s been solid. I’m parting with it because I’m moving house and it’s just getting a bit heavy to move. It’s still in good shape, box-wrapped when I bought it, and I’ve never had any issues with it.
It’s not on the market for a lot of money — just £269.99 — but it’s been a real go-to for freezing food, especially when we’ve had big meals or holiday prep. If you’re looking for a reliable, spacious freezer that doesn’t take up too much space, this one might just work for you.
