So I’ve been keeping this car for a while now — it’s a 2019 BMW i3 hatchback, fully electric, automatic. I bought it new and it’s been properly looked after, so it has a full service history and a fresh MOT. The seats are grey and heated — nice on those cold Scottish mornings — and the interior trim is that matt indesit silver that looks clean and modern.

It comes with a proper sat-nav and media system, so you can play music, use apps, and even get real-time traffic updates. The wheels are 19-inch turbine-style bi-colour alloys, and it has LED running lights. I’ve got the comfort package, so there’s an armrest and storage options — useful if you’re ever carrying a big bag or a dog.

Inside, it’s got climate control, cruise control with brake assist, Bluetooth, DAB, USB, aux, and even connected drive features. You can connect to your phone, use voice commands, and it even tells you when you’re getting close to traffic jams.

The doors fold up automatically, and the mirrors have anti-dazzle features. It’s got air conditioning, alarm, and immobiliser — all standard, which I’ve always appreciated.

I’m moving to Ballindalloch in Moray and it’s just not practical to keep it where I’m currently living. I’m not selling it for a big price — it’s £10,255.50 — but it’s still a solid, well-maintained electric car that’s been used responsibly. If you’re into quiet, low-emission driving and like the practicality of a hatchback, this might be something you’d actually enjoy.
