2020 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.5 Turbo D 2900 Sportive LWB Air Con Manual L2 H1 Euro 6
Description
This is the van I’ve been using for work and really getting to know over the last few years. It’s a 2020 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.5 Turbo D, 2900 Sportive LWB, with air conditioning, manual transmission, and H1 Euro 6 compliance. 100ps, so it’s got enough punch for the job without being too much of a hassle.I bought it about five years ago and it’s seen a fair bit — loads of local deliveries, a few trips out of town, and even managed a couple of weekend road trips. It’s well maintained, and I’ve had regular service checks. The engine runs smoothly, the interior is clean and tidy, and the van feels solid.
I’m based in Rhayader, Powys, and it’s actually a bit of a drive from where I live, but I’ve only ever had to go to the van yard when I needed something specific. The Van Yard (formerly Chesterfield Vehicles) started off as a small place on Sheffield Road, Chesterfield, but over time, the demand for reliable, affordable vans grew — so we moved to a bigger site on Chesterfield Road, Arkwright. It’s been a good place to grow, and now we’ve got a wide range of vans from small bippies to big Lutons.
They’re open six days a week, 9am to 5:30pm, so it’s easy to pop in. I’ve actually been there a few times to check on things — the staff are reliable, and they don’t push anything. They do all work independently, and everything’s AA approved, including safety belt pretensioners.
It comes with a 6-month AA warranty and 1 year breakdown cover — I’ve had a few things go wrong over the years, and it’s been good to have that cover. I’ve also had a few 1, 2, and 3-year options available if you’re thinking about long-term use.
The price is £10,349.10 — which is what I’m putting it at, though it’s not the full price displayed online. The online listing shows £11,499, but that’s VAT-exclusive, and I’ve kept it simple here.
If you’re looking for a reliable, practical van that’s been used responsibly and well, this one’s been through the wringer — but not in a bad way. It’s just a solid, no-nonsense van that gets the job done.
If you’re local to Rhayader or nearby, I’d be happy to talk about it or show it over — no pressure, just a real chat about what it’s like to use one of these things day in and day out.
