I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2015 Suzuki Swift SZ3 hatchback with the manual gearbox, and it’s been a solid daily driver. I bought it second-hand, and it’s only had two owners before me, which I’m happy about. The paint is still bright white, and it looks pretty clean and well-maintained.

It’s got a 1.2L petrol engine, which is efficient — I’ve seen the fuel economy on the dashboard, and it’s around 51.4mpg. That means you don’t burn much petrol, and it’s got a low CO2 output of 126g/km, so it’s not bad for the environment either.

Inside, it’s roomy for a hatchback — plenty of space for two or three people. I’ve used the air conditioning quite a bit, especially in summer, and it works well. There’s an alarm, anti-lock brakes, central locking, electric windows, and a full service history. I’ve also checked the passenger airbag and driver airbag — both are working. The immobiliser and traction control are there too, which gives a bit of peace of mind.

I’ve had it serviced regularly, and the mileage is verified. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and easy to drive. I’ve driven it around a lot — from Leicestershire to the Midlands, even a few trips to the coast — and it’s held up well.

I’ve been thinking about selling it because I’m moving into a different area, and I’m looking for something a bit more modern. I’ve actually only had £160 road tax per year, which is pretty reasonable for a car like this.

It’s not cheap — I’m not saying it is — but I’m offering it at £5,399.10 because it’s been well looked after and has been a reliable companion.
