Description
5th Sep, 2025 11:00 The September 2025 Motorcycle Auction 1999 Kawasaki ZX-7R Ninja Nice classic superbike Estimate £2,250 - £2,750 Buyer's Premium: 15.00% of hammer with a minimum charge of £300.00 plus VAT Lot details Registration: T676FRU Frame: JKAZX750PPA037611 Odometer: 19,528 749cc inline 4-cylinder 6-speed manual Electric start Micron exhaust The ZX-7R was a 750cc motorcycle in the Ninja sport bike series from the Japanese manufacturer Kawasaki produced from 1989 until 2003. Kawasaki developed the ZX-7 in response to the increasing number of racing oriented 750cc sport bikes being produced by its competitors in the late 1980s. Developed from the prototype ZXR7 endurance race bike, the Kawasaki ZX‑7 was first introduced for the 1989 model year. The ZX-7 received continuous updates throughout the 1990s, and racing versions would go on to win four AMA Superbike Championships and one Superbike World Championship. This bike has come to us from a regular vendor who has owned it since 2021 and it is in very original condition and specification with the addition of a Micron exhaust, rear hugger, tinted screen and colour coded seat cowl. The ZX-7R was always renowned for being a reliable and usable Superbike and nice examples are starting to get scarce now. This bike comes complete with full UK V5, original owner’s manual, part service history and 1 key. A very usable classic that would certainly be a head turner at any bike meeting or show.
