Comedy Night at The Limes Bar and Hotel

So, I saw this comedy night happening at The Limes Bar and Hotel in Pembroke-dock, Pembrokeshire, and thought I’d share it — it’s actually in a different spot now than before, but still worth checking out.

It’s Saturday, October 4th, starting at 8pm. The lineup is solid: Eddy Brimson is headlining — that guy’s been on shows like Eastenders and Absolutely Fabulous, and he’s actually done stand-up naked once, which I suppose proves he’s not afraid to go full weird. He’s a real character, and the "geezer" thing? Totally true — you’ll laugh a lot.

Then there’s Diane Spencer, who’s funny, sharp, and has a YouTube channel with over 10K subscribers and a million views. She’s done gigs from The Laugh Factory to world-famous Improv in LA, and even got praise at the Edinburgh Fringe. I’ve seen her clips — they’re actually quite sharp.

Pete Teckman’s also on the bill — he won Silver Stand Up of the Year in 2017 at Leicester Comedy Festival, which is a big deal for comedians over 40. His style is this mix of self-deprecating and observational — takes life’s tough stuff and turns it into comedy gold.

The night’s hosted by Martin Westgate, who made the judges laugh on Britain’s Got Talent with some cheeky jokes about David Walliams. Honestly, the vibe is going to be fun and a bit cheeky — not stuffy, not boring.

Doors open at 7, show starts at 8. Food’s available, £15 in advance. I’ve got a bit of a spot on my list — it’s not a huge deal, but if you’re into stand-up and a good laugh, it’s worth a go.
