Studiologic Fatar SL-990 Pro 88-key weighted MIDI controller
Description
I’ve had this MIDI controller for years — it’s basically been my go-to for all my music work. I’ve used it a lot when I’m doing live stuff or recording, and it’s actually quite solid. The weighted hammer action gives a real piano feel, and I’ve tried a few different weight settings depending on what kind of music I’m making. It’s a pro-level controller, built tough and reliable, and I’ve used it through a lot of sessions without a hitch. It’s an 88-key keyboard with eight velocity levels, which means you can tweak how hard the keys respond — super useful for different styles. I’m not using it much these days, so I’m parting with it. The package includes a combined damper/sustain pedal (a bit of a rare find) and a MIDI USB adapter — both of which are handy and still work well.
I’m based in Glenrothes, Fife, so if you want to pick it up, I can arrange a time to meet up at TQ7 in Chillington. I’ve got the manual online too, so if you’re curious, it’s all there on the Studiologic site.
It’s not a flashy sale — just a real instrument I’ve used through the years and thought it’d be better off with someone who actually uses it. Price is £171, but I don’t usually talk about that unless asked.
