2014 Dacia Sandero Stepway 0.9 TCe Laureate Hatchback
Description
This 2014 Dacia Sandero Stepway has been a real workhorse for me over the years – I’ve driven it through all sorts of weather, from muddy countryside roads to city traffic. It’s a solid, reliable little car with a bit of character and loads of practical features. It’s got a 7-inch touchscreen with sat nav, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX – I use it for music and phone calls a lot. The seats are comfy, especially the front, and I’ve got height-adjustable seats and headrests. The rear seats fold down easily, which helps when I’m hauling gear or taking kids out.
The car has a few nice touches you don’t see in every hatchback: chrome trim around the doors and grille, body-coloured bumpers, heated door mirrors, and a stepway design with the logo on the front door panel. I’ve kept the windows tinted and the interior clean – it’s been well maintained.
Safety features are top-notch: ABS, ASR, ESC, airbags (front, side, passenger deactivation), EBA, and a full immobiliser. There’s also a trip computer, tyre pressure monitor, and rear parking sensors – I find those handy when parking in tight spots.
I’ve got a spare wheel, a tyre inflator, and a small tool kit in the boot. The interior is tidy, with map pockets, a vanity mirror, and some storage spots you can actually use.
It’s a manual with a 0.9-litre engine – not flashy, but efficient and easy to drive. I’ve kept it well looked after, and it’s never been far from being in good shape.
I’m based in tain, Highland, and it’s a bit of a walk from the nearest car shop, but I’m happy to show it around or take a quick test drive if you’re interested.
It’s been in my family for a while now – I’ve used it for everything from weekend trips to commuting. If you're looking for a reliable, practical hatchback that doesn’t break the bank, this one’s a solid choice.
I’m not selling it to make a quick profit – I’ve just moved on to something else. But if you’re in the market for a clean, safe, and well-equipped car, this one’s been a real pleasure to own.
P.S. It’s worth a look – the price is £3,870, which is a fair bit for what it is. I’m not pushing it, just sharing it with someone who might actually use it.
