Wimsew W-C111-3A Industrial Sewing Machine

Description

I’ve had this Wimsew W-C111-3A industrial straight stitch machine for a few years now and it’s been absolutely reliable – I use it for home projects, tailoring, and a few alterations around the house. It’s fully serviced and runs smoothly, no major issues at all.

It’s got a straight lockstitch function, works on cotton, leather, silk, synthetics – basically any fabric you’d find in a home sewing setup. The stitch length is adjustable (0–4.2mm), presser foot height can be set to 6mm or 13mm, and it has a knee lift and reverse feature, which is handy for back tacks and small fixes.

The motor’s a solid 13-amp single-phase unit, so it runs on 240V – I’ve used it at home with no problems. The kit includes the head, motor, stand, table, and cotton stand. It’s not a fancy machine, but it does heavy-duty work well.

The machine is about 106cm long, 50cm wide, and stands around 80cm tall. With the table and stand, it weighs in at roughly 120kg – quite heavy, so you’ll need a strong workbench.

I originally bought it for £180 (would cost over £350 new), so it’s a great deal for someone looking for a solid, dependable machine.
