So, I’ve had this 1997 Peugeot 106 XN for over 20 years now — it’s one of those cars that just keeps getting better with time. It’s a 1.1 litre petrol hatch, five doors, and it’s been kept pretty well over the years. I’ve had it for a while now and it’s done just under 81k miles, but the last service was three years ago and since then, it’s barely moved — very low mileage after that.

The body’s solid, no dents or rust, and the interior’s still in pretty good shape — carpets, dash, door cards, headliner, all clean and working. Everything’s functional, from the lights to the electrics. The wheels are original, just with some aftermarket covers added — nothing fancy, just keeps it looking tidy.

MOT’s valid until March 2026, so it’s got a solid run. I’ve not driven it much in the last few years, so it’s still in good shape. Honestly, it’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, quiet, and I like how it handles. It’s not exactly a modern car, but it’s a solid piece of kit that’s been looked after.
